Coffee is a treat,bitter and smooth. Flavor is superb! First time there I had straight black. Awesome! A few weeks later I came back to try iced coffee with chocolate,mint and cream. Fantastic! Must come back for perhaps, a latte.
Excellent coffee with a good variety of options. Good, fresh pastries. Excellent, friendly atmosphere. Free wi-fi. A public outdoor seating area adjacent. A good place to bring a friend to sit down and talk.
I highly recommend Uncommon Grounds! We had some unfortunate luck with tires to land us in town overnight and while our toy hauler got all new tires I stopped in for coffee. Staff was very friendly and coffee and scones were amazing! Very happy to see staff wasn't wearing masks and didn't require customers to. Leaving it up to your own adult decision!
Definitely where the locals go! We enjoyed a delicious slice of ham and Swiss quiche and coffee while visiting the Indianola square. I highly recommend!
My daughter and I had to try out this coffee shop after it reopened! She liked the games and atmosphere before it closed. We both loved it! The coffee was good, breakfast foods were delicious, everything was a good price, service was so kind, the remodel was beautiful and cozy, and it was a perfect atmosphere for all ages!!! We both highly recommend and it is probably our top choice now as a family! Also, probably the best donuts in town!

Enjoying walking around ' The Square' , when I stumbled upon Uncommon Grounds Coffee House. Came in to be welcomed by a traditional coffee house feel. Walking through your pleasantly surprised by the cozy, welcome to my living room vibes. The fun family games made it extremely exciting to think about coming in again with my boys OR kids in general. Opened up 2 weeks ago, the current owners, 2 sisters; have hired on Mom. This charismatic bunch! Y'all have gotta stop by for the flavor of the week! THIS week the flavor is Amaretto Royale Medium to dark roast, the smell makes you think it's going to be a very flavorful coffee. This is a coffee LOVERS coffee. That bold coffee coming through with more of an earthy almond Amaretto flavor than the cherry. New hang spot!
